Canazei has a fraction, Alba. The Ladin name of the village is Dèlba. It is located at 1 517 m

In the village center there is the Ciampac cableway, access to the Ciampac-Buffaure ski carousel which allows skiers to reach Pozza di Fassa on skis. A cableway connected to the already existing Ciampac that connects Alba di Canazei directly with the Col dei Rossi and then with the Sella Ronda.
